CHATGPT Leaks User's Personal Data and Conversations:
As technology advances, we find ourselves relying more and more on artificial intelligence to help us for various tasks, from ordering groceries to scheduling appointments. One such example is ChatGPT, an AI language model designed by OpenAI, and it is currently based on the GPT-3.5/4 architecture.
This AI tool is pre-trained language model that uses existing data to generate our desired informations with super fast speed. If we say that "CHATGPT" is now the biggest discovery of man after 1980, then it won't be wrong.
After all, it has also prompted a red alert for Google and other search engines.
However, as much as we may trust ChatGPT to assist us in our daily lives, recent reports have revealed a shocking truth - ChatGPT has leaked our personal details and conversations.
This news is undoubtedly an alarming news, as it raises serious concerns about cyber security and the protection of our personal information. After all, if even advanced AI models like ChatGPT are vulnerable to data breaches, what can we expect about the security of our other devices and systems?
At this point, it is important to note that OpenAI has not officially confirmed the leak, and there is no information on the scale or extent of the damage. Nonetheless, the possibility of such a breach serves as a wake-up call for all of us to be more careful about protecting our personal data.
A number of users on social media has revealed that they accessed other people’s conversations in their chat history. Even their Emails, credit card numbers and expiration dates and other payment details were also leaked due to this bug.
Errrrrrrr. I was experimenting with ChatGPT @OpenAI when my prompt caused large amounts of text to be returned and a "timeout" kept occurring. However, your app is showing me OTHER PEOPLE'S chats and content now. I did not type any of these prompts or queries. pic.twitter.com/KwKsdg2W07

The OPENAI'S officials have started approaching all users whose had payment informations were leaked.
OPENAI told the media that ChatGPT has been closed temporarily to fix that glitch.
Sam Altman, the CEO of OPENAI in a tweet said," The company faced a significant glitch due to a bug in an open-source library, for which a fix has now been released and we have just finished validating. Only a small percentage of users were able to see the titles of other users’ conversation history… We feel awful about this.”

Whether we like it or not, technology has become an integral part of our lives, and we need to take responsibility for securing our online presence on internet. This includes being mindful of the information that we share on internet, creating strong passwords, regularly updating our software, and using encryption and other security measures.
Infact, we should hold tech companies accountable for the their poor because the alleged leak of personal data and conversations from ChatGPT is a stark reminder of the importance of cyber security and in today's digital era. It is up to each and every one of us to take the necessary precautions and security measures to protect ourselves online and consider tech companies accountable for their role in such activities, ensuring our data remains safe and secure.
