British Council announces to double scholarships for Pakistani Students:

Neil Gray, the International Development Minister of Scottish government has announced that British Council is going to  double the number of scholarships for Pakistani students offered under the Scotland-Pakistan Scholarships initiative of UK government.

As per council, it has allocated extra £500,000 to double the number of scholarships for flood affected girls and young women of Pakistan, ensuring that they can continue their studies with little loss.

Grey also stated that the effect of such mishaps are more prominent on  girls and women.

So he anticipated that such scholarships would help the country's long-term ecnomic progress and property.

As per the country director of British Council Pakistan, Amir Ramzan, the inception of this scheme from 2013 has enabled the thousands of brilliant girls and women of poor families to study the essential subjects required for their country's ecnomic progress.

This extraordinary support will help the flood affected youth of Pakistan to gain their full potential.
